Illinois residents can buy a visit pass to get full access to the Southern Illinois University Recreation Center for 5 days ($30) or 10 days ($60) with no expiration date. You can also buy an unlimited one-month pass ($60).
You’ll need an Illinois State ID to sign up. Your pass lets you sponsor up to 2 people per day as your guests for an additional fee. You can get details on the SIU Guest and Visit Pass page.
This gives you access to the REC during all open hours. You can see the hours here that various REC center offerings are open; hours may be limited during school breaks.
