Hi I’m Gayla Groom. I run Gems Press, a small publisher offering book writing and editing, manuscript layout, and Kindle book creation. I’m a Carbondale resident. I’m good at producing Kindle books that look great even when they contain difficult formatting. I’m also what they call a “book doctor.” I can take a manuscript that has value but is in terrible shape and make it something to be proud of. I also do ghostwriting — you tell me what you want book-wise, we talk, I write it up nicely, we put your name on it as the author. Gems Press publishes its own series of books, specializing in curated gems of information resurrected from old books and documents.
